Partnering with Local Schools

Recently HFK staff invited directors and teachers from the five different schools that our students attend, to gather at our Education & Youth Empowerment Centre.

Our goal was to help the educational staff from both the private and government schools better understand our programs and the needs of our kids. The whole morning was spent strengthening the relationships between our social workers and the school staff, building cooperation, and helping everyone understand the importance of meeting both the emotional and educational needs of our students. During our time together, we also brought the administrators to the Basilios well project, to emphasize the value we place on partnership and to demonstrate what can take place when we collaborate for the needs of the students!
