Our Ethiopian Partner

Kore Great Hope Charity Organization

Korah Great Hope Charity Organization (KGHC) is an indigenous non-governmental organization (NGO) established in 2010. It is registered under the Ethiopian Charities and Societies Agency with Reg. no. 2278.

The organization was established with the vision of contributing to poverty reduction in Addis Ababa and bringing positive behavioral and social change through empowering children and families. KGHC started its operation with the mission of improving the socio- economic wellbeing of marginalized urban families, children, and communities through the provision of education and economic empowerment. It continues this mission today in partnership with Hope for Korah, by providing holistic services that address the medical, physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of impoverished urban families.

The two organizations work closely alongside each other, and share the same core values of integrity, dignity, transparency, accountability, and participation. Ultimately, this organizational partnership seeks to see the community of Korah transformed through creating strong, healthy, and self-sufficient families.
