Happy Ethiopian New Year!

These Hope for Korah girls welcomed in the Ethiopian New Year with lots of singing!

As tradition has it in Ethiopia, when serenaded, bystanders and friends gave the singers small gifts of money. Today, these girls chose to donate their earnings to the Kindness Club (also made up of HFK Youth) who in turn used it to purchase groceries and chickens for needy Korah families. What a beautiful way to start the New Year! Melkam Addis Ahmet!
