Mohamed is a positive and responsible university student seeking a post-secondary sponsor.
Mohamed’s family joined the HFK programs many years ago, when he was just a young boy. At that time, his mother was begging on the streets, and the family survived on scraps of food while living in a makeshift shelter. Along with his two sisters, Mohamed began participating in HFK programs such as the Berta Breakfast Program, after-school tutoring, and various clubs and enrichment activities. Over the years, one of his favorite activities has been the HFK Boys’ Soccer Club, which he continues to participate in regularly.
Kind, sociable, and down-to-earth, Mohamed shares, “I want to be a role model for the youth living in our community. Changing my family’s life is my priority.” He is currently enrolled in his first year of a Marketing diploma program at Admas University.
Post-secondary education is a transformative step in Mohamed’s journey, and we are excited to support him as he begins this new chapter. Sponsorship will cover tuition, school supplies, materials, and transportation—equipping him to successfully complete his program. This investment will help Mohamed break the cycle of poverty, strengthen his future opportunities, and bring hope for a brighter future.
