This fall, we look forward to welcoming a new group of families and invite you to be part of their journey.
For many families living in extreme poverty in Korah, Ethiopia, daily life is shaped by overwhelming challenges such as illness, loss, unemployment, unstable housing, and limited access to education, making it difficult to see a way forward.
In the midst of these hardships, the HFK Family Empowerment Program offers a rare and meaningful opportunity to break the cycle of poverty and move toward a different future—one marked by healing, growth, and increasing independence. Through holistic, wraparound support, families are equipped with the practical tools, training, and encouragement they need to begin rebuilding their lives with dignity and hope, and to take steady steps toward long-term stability and self-sufficiency.

Early commitment helps support the assessment process and provides important transitional support as families enter the program. In September, you will be among the first to read their stories and select a family to sponsor.
