85 Women, One Incredible Milestone

Big news for our Self Help Groups!

We are excited that our Self Help Groups (SHGs) have been recognized for their success and have officially been accepted into CoSAP (the Consortium of Self Help Group Approach Promoters), a national network that helps organizations across Ethiopia work together to empower women and strengthen Self Help Groups.

SHGs are community groups where women come together to save money, learn new skills, support one another, and grow in confidence and financial independence.

Joining CoSAP is a significant milestone for our SHGs. Through this partnership, our group leaders will receive additional training, mentorship, and opportunities to learn from other SHGs across the country. This will help our groups become even more sustainable and self-sufficient in the years ahead.

Today, our five Self Help Groups are made up of 85 dedicated women who are working together to save, learn, and support one another. We are so proud of all they have accomplished and look forward to seeing how this partnership with CoSAP will help them continue to grow, learn, and create lasting change in their communities.
