Fun and outgoing, Ananiya is an 11-year-old who loves soccer and dreams of playing on a professional team.
Ananiya is a caring older brother who helps his mother look after his younger siblings and assists with household responsibilities. Their family is currently going through a difficult time after their home near the garbage dump was destroyed, forcing them to find a new place to live. Despite these challenges, Ananiya continues to enjoy going to school and works hard in his studies, especially in his favorite subjects, Environmental Science and Mathematics.
Ananiya is actively involved in Hope for Korah’s youth programs, including art, computer classes, study sessions, and children’s small group activities. He also enjoys playing soccer, participating in his school’s sports club, and spending time with his friends. His cheerful personality, dedication to learning, and passion for the game reflect his determination to continue developing his skills and pursue his dreams.
This fall, Ananiya will be starting Grade 6 at Yotor School, a private school in Korah that offers a higher standard of education through smaller class sizes, quality teaching, and greater individual support. An Educational Sponsorship will cover his tuition, school uniform, textbooks, school supplies, after-school tutoring, participation in Hope for Korah youth programs, and a nutritious Berta Breakfast each morning before school. This support will help Ananiya break the cycle of poverty by empowering his mind and offering hope for a brighter future.
