Alelign & Abraham

These brothers have loads of energy and love being active!

Alelign (age 8) and Abraham (age 7) live in Korah with their parents, older sister, and younger brother. They enjoy playing soccer and spending time outside with their friends. Both boys are bright and hardworking, and they enjoy going to school and take pride in completing their homework. They attend church with their mother and are caring older brothers who help at home by looking after their baby brother.

Alelign and Abraham are enrolled in Grade 1 and KG-3 at Mar Youth Academy, where they benefit from smaller class sizes, quality instruction, and greater academic support from teachers. An Educational Sponsorship will provide their tuition, uniforms, textbooks, school supplies, after-school tutoring, youth activities, and a nutritious Berta Breakfast each school day. This support will help Alelign and Abraham break the cycle of poverty by empowering their minds and providing hope for brighter futures.
