Staff Spotlight: Daycare Team

Meet Sara and Sisay, two dedicated members of our Daycare team whose stories are filled with hope and transformation.

Sisay faithfully served on our Daycare team as a cleaner, and through HFK she recently completed training in preschool education and earned her certificate as a preschool teacher. We are so proud of her hard work and excited to see her step into this new chapter of teaching and caring for children.

Sara has been part of the HFK family for 11 years. She also began as a cleaner, and her servant-hearted attitude and willingness to help wherever needed led to her promotion to a nanny position in our daycare two years ago. Sara says that caring for children is her calling, and she finds great joy in seeing them laugh, learn, eat nutritious meals, and grow in a safe and loving environment.

At HFK, we believe in equipping our staff to learn, grow, and serve in ways that use their gifts and honour God. Sara and Sisay are beautiful examples of what happens when faith, opportunity, and dedication come together.
