Christmas with the Elders

While in Ethiopia, we received many beautiful photos of our elders’ community and a special Ethiopian Christmas celebration held at our elders’ home.

Thanks to the Seniors Group at New Life Church, groceries were purchased for 60 elders from the Korah community, many of whom are living with leprosy.

The elders were warmly welcomed by our staff and shared a meaningful time of gathering together, including a traditional coffee ceremony, heartfelt speeches, and a special time of blessing. Our guests were so grateful to take home generous food supplies, arriving just in time to celebrate the holiday together.
