All of us at Hope for Korah are filled with excitement as P.L. and Kristen, with Cycle 5 To Survive, set off from Bogotá, Colombia, on their incredible cycling adventure across South America!

At HFK, we love our vibrant and growing youth soccer program—an incredible way to build relationships, encourage teamwork, and empower kids of all ages. This program, along with other youth-focused initiatives, is supported by the generous efforts of P.L. and Kristen Meindertsma from Cycle 5 To Survive.

This journey marks ride #3 in their mission to complete 5 rides across 5 continents in 5 years, each one raising funds for a different cause. We are deeply honoured that Hope for Korah is one of those causes, with all funds raised going directly to support our Youth Empowerment & Education Program—which includes our beloved soccer teams!

To send them off in true HFK style, our soccer teams and youth of all ages came together for a joyful celebration. The older youth created a vibrant banner, and the entire group gathered to cheer on P.L. and Kristen—while also celebrating their own end-of-year accomplishments. Their energy made the launch unforgettable!

Over the next 6 months, P.L. and Kristen will ride more than 10,000 km through rugged terrain and remote communities—and we’ll be cheering them on and covering them in prayer every step of the way.

Go, Cycle 5! Thank you for all you’re doing for our kids—and to every supporter riding alongside you in spirit!
