Abebe's Education

After recently completing high school, Abebe earned excellent results on his university entrance exams and has been accepted to study at one of Ethiopia’s top universities. Growing up in Korah, he has experienced the challenges of poverty but has remained focused on his education and future goals.

Throughout his childhood, Abebe has been actively involved in Hope for Korah’s youth programs, including soccer, the Berta Breakfast Program, and after-school tutoring. These programs have provided him with a safe place to belong, learn, and study while encouraging him to continue pursuing his dreams. Abebe hopes to one day become a pilot and earn a degree that will allow him to build a career, support his family, and serve others.

Post-secondary education is a transformative step in Abebe’s journey, and sponsorship will provide the support he needs to successfully complete his program. Sponsorship will cover books, school supplies, materials, and transportation—equipping him to pursue his studies and achieve his goals. This investment will help Abebe break the cycle of poverty, strengthen his future opportunities, and bring hope for a brighter future.
