Meet Sedebo
If you’ve ever visited the HFK compound, Sedebo was likely the first person you met, greeting you with his big, warm smile and friendly welcome.
Before joining Hope for Korah, Sedebo and his family worked at the trash dump, scavenging for food and materials to sell in order to survive. Today, Sedebo has served faithfully for many years as a security guard with HFK, helping to patrol the compounds, keep them safe, and warmly welcome all staff and visitors. His wife is a graduate of the Family Empowerment Program and now has steady employment, and their eldest daughter has recently graduated from university as a radiologist!
Sedebo shared that he loves seeing staff, children, and families moving about the compound in a safe and peaceful environment that he helps to protect every day.
