185 youth—and counting—received vital health screenings this summer at HFK!
Recently, while our youth visited the HFK office to collect their backpacks, our Healthcare staff conducted a medical screening for students ages 4 to 20. The process went smoothly and offered a valuable opportunity to catch medical issues that may have otherwise gone unnoticed. It also provided space for students to voice their health concerns and receive personalized health education and counseling.
Through these assessments, we gained important insights—identifying underweight youth and highlighting several ongoing and urgent health concerns. This screening not only helped prioritize cases requiring immediate attention but also shaped our plan for necessary follow-up care.
