Hope On the Move - Meron's Story

Stories from Korah

This week, we’re sharing the story of a very special child in our program to show how transportation can deeply impact lives.

Meet Meron — a sweet 6-year-old in HFK's daycare. When Meron joined us four years ago, she was severely delayed. She couldn’t sit up on her own and had no access to support or specialized care.

Since joining HFK, Meron has been able to attend a specialized physiotherapy center. For many months, she traveled there 2-3 times a week, together with five other children in our program who also have special needs. We've witnessed remarkable progress — Meron is now walking, playing, and even feeding herself.

But getting her there hasn’t been easy. Relying on hired drivers and taxis has made this process challenging. A dedicated van would make a world of difference — not just for Meron, but for all the vulnerable children we serve. We need a safe, spacious, and dependable vehicle to ensure every child can access the care they deserve.
