P.L. and Kristen Meindertsma of Cycle 5 to Survive are kicking off the first of 5 rides—the Continental Divide, a 4300 KM long route from Canmore, Alberta to Antelope, New Mexico! Everyone here in Korah, Ethiopia (and so many around the world) are so excited for you and cheering you on! And what better way to do that than throwing the first bike race ever in Korah!

The women in our two Basket Weavers’ Cooperatives have been hard at work fulfilling some large orders! One recently went to the Hilton Hotel, a very old, beautiful hotel in Addis Ababa with a rich history.
Recently HFK staff invited directors and teachers from the five different schools that our students attend, to gather at our Education & Youth Empowerment Centre.
