Seven years ago, God planted a young American nurse in the heart of a slum district in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. In response to the overwhelming unmet health needs, Emily began a health service out of her backpack, tending to many living in Korah who could not afford even the most rudimentary healthcare.
Can you help us protect the garbage collectors in Korah? HFK is partnering with the local government to provide health safety equipment (120 masks, 120 pairs of shoes & 120 gloves) for 60 local garbage collectors.
Today we wrapped up an excellent four-day Life Skills Training course for youth, facilitated by our Hope for Korah staff.

"Today's reality check, just in case you need a little perspective. We went to one of my favorite places today, Korah. It's a leper colony that a holds close to 130,000 people. It's one of my favorite places because some of my favorite people reside there.
